  1. Pebble padde quietly through the seemingly-endless tunnels and caves that made up CavernPAck territory. She had committed most of them to memory, but some still remained a mystery to her. Inhaling deeply, Pebble let her nose lead her to her secret hideout. The place where she knew no one else would find her, where she could be at peace. Finally, she found the small opening in some tumbled rocks on a ledge 5 feet off the ground. Jumping powerfully up onto the ledge, Pebble squeezed her lithe body through the opening.
Before her was an underground spring; some of the cleanest, clearest, water in the realm. The water sparkled and was a beautiful island blue color, dispite there being no sky to reflect off of. A small waterfall tumbled down from a ledge high up in the large cavern. bright crystals, and small glowing flowers, which her pack had decided to call moonshimmer, lighted her path as she went down to lay down by the sparkling water. Sighing a sigh of releif, Pebble lay her head on her paws, glad she was finally home

  2. Hazel felt the pups kick in her stomach. She wasn't telling anyone who their father was. No one even knew they existed. She lied by the clear blue water, the walls made of glimmering crystal stalactites and stalagmites. Staring into the water, she saw images of running, flying, howling, fighting wolves in the water. The images were on the floor of the pool, made out of reflections of the light.
She looked up as Pebble settled down a couple feet away. The shore of the pool consisted of soft smooth sand, and large, flat, cool crystals. They glowed slightly with a light but transparent blue, giving it a mystic feeling.
She asked Pebble, "Do you see the wolves in the water?"

  3. Pebble nodded. She decided not to question how Hazel could se them. The images only formed by the slightest refraction of light from the glowing crystals so many feet above them. It was very beautiful, Pebble thought, watching a small pup following closly behide its mother, and just as quickly as they appeared, the wolves seemed to dissapear, only leaving the phantom of thier presence. Onley the sharpest eyes and the most abstract minds could detect the fleeting images of wolves running amongst the stoney waters

  4. A yelp echoed through the caves, and Hazel jumped to her feet following the sound. The tunnel it came from gradually faded from crystal to dull granite rock and was very small. Pressing her wings to her body, she prowled through the freezing stone tunnels to find three male canines traveling there, as well as an unconscious she wolf.
One was a tall and skinny wolf, with the coloring of a fox- a maned wolf. One was much smaller than the wolves, with rounded ears and patched colors on the pelt- an african wild dog. The other two were dark brown wolves- one a she wolf lying on a wolf's back and the other a large male wolf.
"Who are you and why have you come to the Cavern Pack?"

  5. Pebble padded up tentitavly behind Hazel. Who were these wolves? They were so... plain, she thought, with thier markingless pelts and dull colored coats. After the male brown wolf explained thier being here. Pebble detected Hazels guard hairs lowering, and muscles relaxing, indicating that she would not be hostile to these wolves.
"Come with me." Hazel said, her eyes gentle, and with that the six wolves began their way back through the labyrinth of tunnells

  6. "Who are these weirdos?" came a quiet voice from beside Pebble.
Pebble gave a small yelp of surprise as she jumped, turning to face the wolf that had said that.
"Over here." the voice said, with a teasing hint in it.
"Stop messing around. Where are you?" Pebble sighed exasperatedly, looking around.
"Behind you. Just look closely." Came the voice, and when Pebble turned around she saw that it was Cregan.
Giving a small smile, Cregan flicked his ears. "see me now?"

  7. Pebble rolled here eyes. The dark shadow wolf looked at her teasingly, his eyes glinting in the shadowy tunnell.
" Foolish pup." She said, her voice giving away her non-seriousness.
"Who are these wolves anyways?" Cregan asked, eyeing the plainly colored wolves suspiciously.
"I dont know, but the small brown one in the middle reeks of sickness, Slicktounge, i do believe. Cregan winced, Slicktounge was a most unpleasant disease, even if it was curable.
"She'll need a healthy does of Starshade," He said, as the strange wolves footsteps echoed in the distance. Pebble nodded.
"We should follow them." She said annd the two wolves galloped through the intricate tunnels. When the reached the strange wolves, the large red on looked at Cregan and Pebble and said,
    "What is this place?"

  8. "Welcome to CavernPack. This is one of two packs that are full of wolves like us, elementals." Cregan explained, shaking some dust out of his shadowy pelt, his armor jangling as he did so.
"And what is that?" The tall red wolf added, eyeing all of them suspiciously.
"What? This?" Cregan asked, taken aback. He thought that everyone knew what armor was. Seeing that the other wolf had absolutely no clue about the armor, Cregan explained. "It's armor. It helps protect me in battle."

  9. Pebble looked at thered wolf, he was rather plain, compared to the element wolves of Feral Territory. No armore, no element markings, just a red pelt.
The strange wolf looked bewildered and shook his head.
"You fight with metal." He stated incredulously
"Its actully quite usuful when your enemy strikes a blow on you," Pebble explain, "It has saved many of our brave warriors."
"Doesnt it make you slower than just fighting without all the metal?" The red wolf inquired
"IT does tend to do that," Cregan said, " But our warriors are trained to be strong enought to carry it."

  10. Stretching, Cregan yawned. He was beginning to lose interest, and it showed.
"yeah, well, see you later." he said boredly, disappearing into the dark background. you could just faintly see the shadows move as he walked away.
Pebble rolled her eyes. That shadow wolf's world was still only so big, despite moons of living with other wolves.
