Ranks

The ranks are both the same for Sky Pack and Cavern Pack, so here they are-

Alpha Male/Female- These are the leaders, they worked there way up there by being the smartest, strongest wolves in the pack, so do what they tell you or you can kiss your pack goodbye.

Betas-Like the leutinants of the pack. They are always there to assist the Alphas with whatever they need, whether it been leading an attack squadron or cleanin out the dens. There are usually only about 3 or 4 Betas a pack

Storyteller- This wolf is usually a very revered and import wolf of the pack. He/She is in charge of remembering the history of important events in the pack, so that it might be howled out in a story for the next generation, And they might even have to make up a couple stories of thier own!-there can only be one a pack.

Blacksmiths- Blacksmith wolves are a rough group. They are tough wolves who know how how to build and maintain a fire, and dont mind getting burned from time to time. Blacksmiths are used by the packs to make weapons, such as foot-daggers, claw-enforcers, and steel fangs. They also make other metal items such as armor, like helmets and breastplates. They are mainly used by Cavern Pack, since they have the most metal ore, but skypack has been known to have the occasional Blacksmith. Average for Pack- 2

Messengers- Messengers are wolves who are usually chosen from a very young age for this job. It is a high and wanted rank in the pack, although there can only be two messengers at a time. For Sky Pack, they must be fast and quick on thier feet, and for Cavern Pack, They must be able to navigate the many tunnels like no other. Messengers are mostly used to carry messages to the other pack.

Healers- Healers are the wolves in the pack that know everything there is to know about herbs, sicknesses, and injuries. They take care of wolves that are sick, or hurt,  and use thier knowledge and skill to cure them. Average number of healers in a pack-1, sometimes 2
Hunters- While all the wolves in the pack can hunt, These wolves are the ones that have a special knack for it and have been trained by an older Hunter in the art of hunting in a pack or solo. They almost always have an important postion in the the hunting squadron- Average number of hunters in a pack- 3

Pup Caretakers- Just as the name says, The pup caretaker is in charge of all the pups of the pack's safety and well-being, and always has to stay back on hunts to care for them. Ther are usually only 1 or 2 caretakers

Deltas- Just your average every-day wolf. They usually end up getting stuck with the odd jobs, like cleaning out dens or ridding the camp of dead animal carcasses

Omegas- The lowest members of the pack. They are constantly being pushed around or told what to do, and if the higher ranking wolf meets any resistance, the omega is usually injured greatly. The runts or newcomers are often omegas
